How it works

From study PDF to scannable equipment in three steps

PowerStudyIQ turns the arc flash study sitting in a binder into a live database your technicians reach by scanning a code on the equipment. Setup is our work, not yours: you provide the study, we build the records, you mount the labels.

  1. 1

    Send us your study

You already have an arc flash study — a report and an equipment list from your engineering firm. Send it as-is. No special format, no re-entry work on your side. Don't have a current study? Our sister firm, PowerSafe Engineering, performs them.

  2. 2

    We build your equipment database

Every bus, panel, MCC, and switchgear from the study becomes a record: hazard values, location, and the upstream isolation path. You review it against your one-line before anything goes live.

  3. 3

    Mount the QR codes

We generate printable QR labels for each piece of equipment. Mount them once. From then on, a phone scan at the equipment shows the current data — and when your next study revises the numbers, the database updates once and every code shows the new values. No reprints.
